All GNU/linux distributions are welcome (Ubuntu is recommended for new users). Bring your computer and an install CD/DVD if you have it. A limited number of install disks will be available on-site. If possible, bring your own power bar, as there can never be too many.

Those needing help and those offering help are both welcome.
