Only games I played that were released this year were Super Robot Wars Y, Trails in the Sky FC remake, and The Outer Worlds 2. I'm not going to count Oblivion: Remastered, especially since I dropped it due to it running like a**.
Best game I played this year is the Trails in the Sky FC remake. It's not the best JRPG I've ever played, but it's got me set on the path of playing the Trails series. I've owned many of the Trails games for several years, but the number of titles kept me from getting into the series. Now, I'm willing to go for it.
The Outer Worlds 2 was the biggest disappointment of the year for me. It was an improvement from the first game, which is what I wanted, but as an actual RPG, I was left wanting.
