Is this a bit like Warbreeds? I can't figure it out, but the description seems very modular-units-based-on-organic-buildings.

Now what I don't like is how abrupt the end of the last season happened. They should've extended the season a bit and did a few more episodes. I get that it was time travel, so it'd be abrupt anyways, but still. I feel like there was still some fuel in the tank story-wise.There's a good novel that ties up the loose ends.

One thing I really missed when the forums went offline was the "Nintendo-like games on Linux" thread. Nice to see those here, too.

I think the thing that everyone who says, "I use x browser, anyway," is missing, is that there's been a subtle creep from Apple and Google on the 'standard' web. People don't make websites for the open web anymore, they target the main browesrs and everyone else is stuck. I have used Firefox since (possibly) 0.6, and Waterfox on my mobile, but I still need Chrome installed for the websites that only work with Chrome. There are websites that I use at work that I know should work in Firefox, but they have a hard-coded page saying, "you need Chrome or Safari to use this site." and no amount of user agent alchemy has gotten around this.
Unless we have another major EU antitrust push, or someone comes out of the blue and puts hard cash into open standards, we'll all be forced to use Chrome within the next few years anyhow.

Did some games of the genre fail for you?Not point-and-click, actually, but a few other games I backed. I might reconsider this, then.

While I love this genre, I will hold off for now. Too many times I've been burnt by Kickstarter PC games.

hard to believe people are taking this laying down.. We truly live in Orwellian times.. because you People HAVE to know this law has squat to do with protecting your kidsIt has everything to do with capitulating with the mass media who platform pressure groups (in this case, the fathers of children who died by suicide) in order to look "tough" against the social media companies, all the while actually screwing over the people and artists by siding with those same companies in absolutely everything else.

It not only, potentially, improves the old game, but is a sneaky free testing environment that will help the new game....and they have already mentioned that they're working on a new game 'in the Frostpunk universe'.
