GOG plan to look a bit closer at Linux through 2026

The Linux response just sounds to me like "yeah, if we have some free time and nothing better to do we *might* look at Linux." So, not likely.

The comment about Windows was far more shocking to me. I'd like to believe that after 30+ years the tide might be turning...but I'm not holding my breath. Seriously though, how is it possible that young people don't even question that they're running the same OS, just a newer version of course, that their GRANDPARENTS ran? Youth don't do this with any other product that I can think of. The unquestioning fealty to Microsoft is something I suppose I'll never understand.

Wishlisted. Not crazy about the art style but the gameplay loop looks interesting...and probably addictive.

Quoting: dpanterThe Backside Detective sounds like something else entirely...
There's actually a game (and manga) in Japan called oshiri no tante (おしりの探偵) which literally means "butt detective." It's actually a kids game and pretty hilarious because the detective's face is basically a giant butt (like the Ben Afflec episode on South Park).

Proton 10.0-3 released bringing lots of improvements for gaming on Linux, SteamOS, Steam Machine

I've tried Proton 10 and GE 10 on a couple of games over the past month or two and had zero success even getting them to run. Had to fall back to 9 which has been flawless. I'll probably wait a while to try 10 again.

I loved the original series which I grew up with and *especially* loved the reboot. I've looked at this game so many times over the years on both PC and Playstation but never ended up getting it due to all the mediocre (at best) reviews, regardless of platform. The most common complaint is the repetition required for completing each mission/scenario/whatever. I've read lots of reviews of this game over the years and it just doesn't sound like something I'd like. Now, Scattered Hopes absolutely does sound more my speed. I just really hope they don't frak that one up.

Deep Dish Dungeon looks like a great co-op dungeon crawler

This just has to be inspired by the Netflix anime ドンジョン飯 (Delicious in Dungeon). I'll be surprised if it isn't. The show is about delving through a dungeon and basically eating all the monsters for their unique culinary properties (and for survival, of course). I don't even like anime much but I really enjoyed it and all the humor in it. Considering how obsessed the Japanese are with food, I suppose it shouldn't be too surprising.

I'll definitely be buying this one when it comes out.

Love the art style for this one. So weird and cool seeing that Microprose logo for a new game after all these years.

I like the concept and the gameplay looks like it could be fun but really tired of the Don't Starve-type graphics. I'll keep an eye on it and watch how it progresses.

Wow, this actually looks really good. I'm not a big tactical gamer but might need to make an exception for this one. They certainly nailed the feels.
