I personally don't like PvP games. I got excited when they had announced they were going to have a PvE campaign, but then they scrapped it, so I won't be getting this. I do hope they bring more stuff over. I play a lot of World of Warcraft through Lutris, but it would be nice to have that officially available on Steam, where most of my other games are. I been thinking about getting Diablo 4, but I haven't yet. That would be nice to see on Steam too.
Imagine if you could customize the Steam Deck colours - try it out with this tool

Metroid Power Suit Deck.
Looks like Valve could be set to launch something called Steam Cloud Gaming

I would be in favor of something like this, but only if it is always possible to choose to download the game to you local machine. Hopefully it would also be Linux/Vulkan based like Stadia, and that the Linux/Vulkan build would be downloadable.

Glad to see them focusing on improving PvE. PvP gaming is just not my thing. I started playing Albion back in beta, and saw a lot of potential in it, but even after full release they just kept focusing on PvP aspects of the game, and I quickly lost interest in the game. After they implement the PvE improvements I'll have to give this another shot.
The next updates to the MMO Albion Online actually sound really good

Quoting: scaineMeh. Bought this genuinely believing that the PvE was worthwhile. And in beta, it was. But no more and I've no appetite to go back to the game with such focus on PvP.Totally agree! I bought it during beta and thought it had a lot of potential, but just about every single update just adds to PvP mostly, while PvE gets neglected. I am not a competitive player, and hate participating in PvP for pretty much every game that has it. I like to be able to go adventuring/exploring/resource gathering, and not get ganked all the time.

I see a lot of people worrying that this could hurt native ports, which I don't want to dismiss the possibility, but I can also see how this could potentially be a really good thing. With Valve helping Wine/DXVK/VKD3D/etc. efforts to improve these tools to run Windows games on Linux it could bring more people to the Linux platform, and if enough people switch to Linux it could be a good intensive to get developers to optimise their games to run better on Linux through native ports and/or switching to Vulkan/OpenGL API's. Only time will tell, but the optimistic side of me hopes this is the case. :)
Valve's Newest Controller Design Looks Solid

Quoting: scaineReally pleased that they added that analogue thumb stick. Driving games would have been a nightmare without one.I haven't actually used a Steam controller, but I'd imagine the track pads would be awesome at emulating a steering wheel, and be way better than an analog stick.
I guess we just need a driving game to launch now! :)
