This rescue of the installfest.org site from domain speculators was the first UniLUG project. This site is a community resource for all things related to installfests. As this site is now powered by WordPress, Installfests posted here are available as RSS feeds automatically. The site is designed to be self-serve, with anyone able to create a contributor account here locally or via use of an OpenID. Contributors will be quickly upgraded to Author status, allowing for instant approval of their posted installfests.
Volunteering/Contributing:
The self-serve nature of this site is intended to reduce the need to worry about the site itself, however this site also needs useful and relevant content to help promote the use of FLOSS operating systems, visibility, and people to look after it. (Forums here are a possibility, but only if there will be people assisting in the forums)
