SDK and NZLUG Installfest

This is a joint event of SDK/ACM UoA Chapter, Engineering Department, NZLUG, IEEE UoA Branch, Massey University and other organisations. You’ll get the chance to not only have linux installed on your machine for free but also talk to the IT professionals!
There are signup forms available for both volunteers (you don’t need to be a Linux guru to be a volunteer) and participants who want Linux (choose your distribution) installed on their machines on the day.
We will also set up a corner where people can donate their old unwanted PC parts and let those interested have a go at building their own workstations from scratch and have Linux installed on those machines!
Some workshops are planned so keep an eye on the website for more updates. As this is an Auckland-wide event we needs LOTS of volunteers!
